Work It
A typical work outfit. Loving the new Gummy Legging jeans at work. The fit is fantastic, despite the fact that I have to go up a size. They fit like second skin and hold their shape through every wear.
Felt a little neutral and predictable with the grey top and black blazer . . . enter the fun fuschia shoes! Love a pop of color!

Spring Fashion: 10 Crosby Derek Lam
Of all the Spring shows so far, I think Derek Lam's 10 Crosby line is my favorite. I have previously mentioned my absolute love of prints, so it's no surprise that I am A-DORING his use of prints (especially the print on print stripe blazer with floral bouse). This collection reads young and modern with that little sense of whimsy that I'm always looking for out of fashion.
I haven't been good about posting lately, so I will be making a better effort. Stay tuned, but let me know you're out there! Make some comments. Let me know your thoughts. Which collection has been your favorite so far?

Neutral Story
This sunny, hot day in Atlanta definately felt right for this fantastic new skirt and a basic tank. It just felt like a good day for neutral tones.
I'm loving the idea of this skirt for fall/winter too! I can't wait to pair it with a cozy sweater and a pair of knee boots. Ready for that crisp weather to hit any day now . . .

After being gone for Lollapalooza in Chicago followed by a work conference in Vegas, I'm home! I had so many Lolla pictures to post, but here are a few of my favorites. I was so hot, I felt like I sacrificed a little fashion for function, but it was worth it! Amazing musicians, amazing local vendors, amazing trip!

Vacay
I am leaving for Chicago this morning for Lollapalooza! I am so excited about seeing all the great bands, and a great people watching weekend! I have spent a RIDICULOUS amount of time picking out all of my outfits for the next few days so I can be cute and comfortable in the heat.
I come back from Lolla on Monday, but leave for Las Vegas on Tuesday. I might be gone for awhile, but there will be lots of fun pics when I get back! Until then!

Willpower
After blogging about my obsession with these Current Elliot cheetah print jeans, I found myself at Nordstrom buying them. Talk about willpower . . . or lack thereof.
I work for a large national retailer, and I was thinking how do I style these so I could still wear them to work. By checking out the descriptions, you might be able to figure out where I work. Love playing with pattern themes, and the idea of this black and white stripe top was just too irresistable. Add some leather bracelets and a bright red lip, and there you go!

Periodical Inspiration
Anyone who knows me knows I am obsessed with my fashion mags. I read them all. I have subscriptions to most, but usually I end up buying them at the newsstand when I haven't gotten mine within at least two days of them appearing at the local Barnes & Noble.
When I read a fantastic article in this month's Elle, I was floored. Talk about right message, right time. Rachel Rosenblit's amazing article on Gabrielle Bernstein was fascinating. Bernstein IS the fashion girl's life GURU. Her message really isn't anything new, but it somehow holds water:
"'Our intentions create our reality.'"
"'If your experiences of things being happy and abundant has everything to do with what's going on outside-because the guy called, you got the job, whatever-like I said, you will all be fucked.'"
Amazing. A must read: Soul Provider by Rachel Rosenblit
Even a fashion girl takes the hint when she's being smacked over the head with it. Thanks Elle magazine!
